Nottingham Twestival

Guest Post by Martin Wright, Nottingham Twestival Organiser

We are very pleased to announce that Nottingham Twestival will take place on Thursday 10th September 2009 at Muse, Hockley (view map). Muse are very kindly providing the venue for free and we thank them for their support.

The venue is opposite the Broadway cinema and the event will take place in the upstairs room. We are hoping to have a couple of bands and DJ’s to provide entertainment for the night. Full line up to be announced!

Tickets cost £5 and are available now with all proceeds going to The National Autistic Society, Nottingham.

If you are unable to attend but would still like to donate, you can use the ‘Cannot Attend – Donation‘ option.

Tuesday 8th September

The format for September’s Nott Tuesday will be the same as that pioneered by Gary Shutler before he deserted us for the gold-paved streets of the big city, see Tuesday July 14th – the format.

I won’t be able to make this event, it coincides with my son’s birthday, so I’ve asked Nick Walker to step into the breach and be compere for the evening.

Usual place and time: Bluu at 18:30 for a 19:00 start time.

So bring along ideas of topics and the gr0up will decide the hot topics of the moment.

I like the idea of getting a speaker again for Octobers event so if anyone has any ideas or contacts please let me know: adam.bird@esendex.com
