Startups, we salute you!

Tonight we have five brave founders pitching their startups at Nott Tuesday. They are seizing the opportunity.

We are in unprecedented economic times. Technology, innovation and entrepreneurship is our opportunity. The UK Internet sector is now worth £100bn and out growing all other sectors!!

Only last week The UK government made a strong commitment to the UK Web technology sector with a London tech cluster, Startup Visa, review of IP law and £200 million in finance.

All of the startup founders are daring greatly and all deserve to win:

  1. Thanks for organising the event Nick. It was a good night. Totally agree that all those who pitched deserve credit for getting up there and giving it a go.

    On a separate note, have you seen this article in the Guardian. They’re trying to map the UK’s tech start-ups ?

    I did see the Guardian article and was planning to talking about it at the event but time ran out. I’ll be posting about it instead. Agreed Nottingham tech companies need to be on it.
