Andy Warwick, a highly experienced Nottingham based iOS (iPhone and iPad) design and programming specialist, will be sharing his vision of the future of mobile at June’s Nott Tuesday.
Andy will be joined by Lucy Hererras-Giffiths from Kuku Apps and Charlotte Thomson-Morley from CreativeNottingham to share their experiences of designing and implementing the new CreativeNottingham iPhone App.

Mobile is a hot topic right now. Smart phones have been talked about for many years and are now coming into fruition with the huge growth and success of Google Android and Apple iPhone.
Andy will be talking about mobile operating system market, and his predictions as to where the industry is heading, with particular focus on the market leaders, Google Android and Apple iOS. Andy will also tackle the question which platform(s) you should develop for from a business point-of-view.
CreativeNottingham is a voluntary team of creative individuals and small businesses who work to connect Nottingham’s creative and digital communities through their online blog and other social media outlets.
CreativeNottingham relies on social media and accessibility. Their app was created as a collaborative project with Kuku Apps, as a new way to engage with the CreativeNottingam blog and community. It has created an easy way to access the blog, community website and twitter feeds in one location.
Finally, we have Paul Singh Bhatia the General Manager of GRACE (Nottingham University Geospatial Building) who’ll be launching the UK European Satellite navigation Competition. This competition is a chance to win £1000′s of funding. Last year Zapp Taxi took the award with their Mobile (iPhone) app.
It should be a very exciting mobile filled Nott Tuesday on the 1st Tuesday of the month!
