Like Nottingham’s Adam Bird, co-founder of Esendex, Oliver Emberton started out in web consultancy after leaving University. Both Adam and Oliver now have successful software companies. Software entrepreneur Oliver Emberton
Until this Summer Oliver had a very successful web design agency, Silktide, for the last 10 years. He simultaneously ran a successful web app, Siteray, for the last five years. The web agency allowed him to get started but Oliver knew the scalable opportunity lay in software.
This year Oliver closed the doors of this web design agency to focus purely on his products SiteBeam and SiteRay. Oliver will be telling us his story and the reasons why he’s made this decision. You can read more about his story here: Why we gave up web design after 10 successful years
Oliver is a passionate, enthusiastic and often out spoken speaker. You can find more about him at his a popular blog: http://blog.silktide.com/
